If you haven't yet checked out the show Mad Men, you must! The 2nd season premiered last night and it certainly didn't disappoint. The costumes and sets in this show are amazing....so much of my beloved color everywhere! I'm always left drooling when I see the fabulous button-tufted turquoise headboard in Betty and Don's bedroom (which according to the set decorator Amy Wells is supposed to reflect Betty's high-class fantasies). These images are from the super-stylish Condesa DF hotel in Mexico City. How can I not love all this turquoise?! Even their website makes my little heart pitter-patter. One of my favorite blogs ever Desire to Inspire found this home while "real estate stalking" in Australia. The question was posed if maybe there was a bit too much going on in this house (check out the rest of the images to make up your own mind), but my jaw dropped when I saw this room. I love that shade of turquoise and think it looks stunning with the yellow and white. And to paint the ceiling...so daring!

A few months ago the Newlywed Diaries had an entire post devoted to robin's egg blue, one of Jennifer's favorite colors. You have to check out her post, but these were my favorite images that she shared. I LOVE that front door. So sophisticated! The blue ceilings are great too...such a unique touch. And I love the wedding pic....so beautiful. I'd love to paint my house robin's egg blue!
