Coastal Beauty

I hope you all have had a chance to look at this beautiful home designed by Brooke of Velvet & Linen (and Giannetti Architecture and Interiors, Inc.). Her clients wanted their home to feel relaxed and coastal, but young and fresh at the same time. Talk about hitting a nail on the head. This bedroom is so dreamy!! I don't know what I like better...the breathtaking Grace Home turquoise tufted ottoman or the stunning Oly chandelier. You certainly don't want to miss out on the rest of the home, so head on over to Velvet & Linen for lots more eye-candy!

Feeling Nautical

Yesterday Julie of Shelter posted a fantastic selection of sea-related images, leaving me with a huge desire to visit New England. I instantly fell for this one from Country Living. The blue makes a world of difference.

Kimberly Ayres

Habitually Chic recently wrote an outstanding post about designer Kimberly Ayres, full of great photos taken by Eric Cahan. These images are from her own home and office. I LOVE the desk lacquered in Farrow and Ball Dix Blue and the gorgeous grasscloth covering the wall. To read all about this home, and for more pictures head over to Habitually Chic!

Sandbox Studio

I love this photograph that Desire to Inspire included in their post about Sandbox Studio. Wouldn't you love to enter a home with an entrance like this? The windows are just fantastic, and I love all the little details.

Sea-Inspired Nantucket Home

I've posted a couple images of this home designed by Frank Roop before, but I love the way the entire home flows together. The sea-tone blues and greens are just perfect for a Nantucket beach house. My absolute favorite thing is definitely the tile backsplash of variegated handmade glass tiles in the kitchen. Like a dip in the ocean! Speaking of...that tub?! My-oh-my! Head on over to House Beautiful to see more of this beautiful beach home! Have a fantastic Memorial Weekend everyone!

Cheery Bathroom

Did you guys all see this yummy turquoise bathroom that Kristin of Contented Me posted a couple days ago?? It is worth re-posting (and saving for my own personal file). Kristin was absolutely right when she predicted I'd love it....every little inch of it indeed!

Doug Meyer

This eclectic and colorful Miami home belongs to designer Doug Meyer. I was immediately drawn to it when flipping through the pages of June's issue of Metropolitan Home. That outdoor space is just what I dream of in the summer. The turquoise deck?! L-O-V-E! To see more of this cool home, just head over here!

Pop of Pink

I absolutely love the hot pink pink chairs paired with the black and white striped sofa in this turquoise living room featured in the Spring 2009 Interior Decorating Trends post done by the Style Estate Blog. The built-ins surrounding the fireplace are fantastic too, as is the tufted bench. Actually, I think I love it all! The room is fun, but sophisticated too. Just my kind of style!

Wren's Room

How absolutely adorable is this nursery belonging to little Wren?! Her parents are Holly & Sean of the blog Life in the Fun Lane. Go here to check out the before images of the nursery, and some more beautiful after pics too! Of course I'm madly in love with all the pom poms (a Martha Stewart kit from Michaels!) and the cozy Rachel Ashwell tie-dye bedding. The "Dream" garland being held up by doves is such a special touch too. And LOVE the floor (especially with all the white). This couple has such a beautiful home, so make sure to check out their blog!

I'm off to visit my family and celebrate my grandma's 89th birthday this weekend, so not sure if I'll be posting on Monday. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! :)

Nicholas Haslam

What a breathtaking bedroom! I'm usually a fan of light, easy-breezy bedrooms, but this one designed by Nicholas Haslam is just beautiful. I absolutely love the headboard, the grasscloth covering the walls and the fabric on all the furniture. Thanks to The Newlywed Diaries for discovering more images of the room for us to drool over!

Cute and Colorful Kitchen

I've posted a picture of this Coastal Living kitchen before, but it looks a lot different in this image. I love the checkerboard painted floor combined with the yellow on the bistro chairs and the blue ceiling. And of course all the little touches of color all over the room. Perfection in my book!

Fresh and Colorful Bathrooms

I thought these two bathrooms were both just so fresh and colorful. I love the bold stripes in the first one...those are some of my favorite colors. And such pretty floral wallpaper in the 2nd image. I'd happily call either bathroom my own!

Cottage Farmhouse in the 'Burbs

I have never spent much time over at Rate My Space, but I popped over there and found this cute cottage farmhouse in the 'burbs by user VintageKitchen. The light-filled master bath is definitely my favorite...what a sea-inspired retreat! I'd love to get ready for my day in there. I adore the kitchen too though. So cute! I love all the big windows in the home, and it really feels like you're out in the country. Head over here to see lots more images of this beautiful home!

The Keith House at Graeme Park

I just stumbled across The Keith House at Graeme Park. Have any of you visited this park and seen this pretty Georgian home? According to their site, Graeme Park is a 42-acre historic park, featuring the Keith House, the only surviving residence of a Colonial Pennsylvania Governor. The mansion has remained virtually intact since the late 18th century. Go here to learn all about this neat home and for a little tour. But you must go check out this Picasa album to see tons more images of the property and even the inside of the home!
